Impromptu Waterfalls in Virgin River Gorge

When there is a lot of rain like there was the week before Christmas (see the previous two days' photos) random waterfalls appear in the Virgin River Gorge on the border of Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. It was truly spectacular. I only wish I'd have had more time to take pictures.

Impassable

Floods all over southern Utah had quite the effect on our trip. Let's just say that I couldn't go into this area and take pictures as I had planned.
