D is for Dilapidated
This is a building that continues to show up on the blog. It's just so delectably dilapidated. It's fun to shoot. Urban decay is always fascinating.

Android HDR - Salt Lake City Skyline
This was shot with the Fake HDR setting in Vignette. a fair job, not much different from the regular output of Vignette, but to be fair, I'd much rather have it be subtle then over the top.

Dead Time

I've always felt like I lose a couple minutes of my life every time I fill up with gas. It's not long enough to really do or read anything but it's long enough that I feel I need to use it for something...hmmmmmm.
It was the perfect length of time to take a photo.

The Sev
Who doesn't love the 7-eleven? There's just something awesome about a store that is open all night where you can get a slurpee and a doughnut any time of day.

Autumn Road
The road up Little Cottonwood Canyon where we went on a picnic yesterday. Hannah and mom had a good time freaking out about the bugs and we got a chance to get out of the house and enjoy the still-warm autumn air.

Hollywood Kitsch
A souvenir shop on Hollywood Blvd. Hannah loved the Walk of Fame, she insisted on walking right down the middle and refused to move for anyone. Oh, the stubbornness of a toddler.

Sardine-ish

I am a convert to United Airlines. I flew United out to Chicago and I had totally forgotten that there was a time when you could fly fairly comfortably. I used to enjoy flying and I couldn't figure out what had changed. That's it. There used to be leg room.
Seriously, I'm flying United from now on.
