Penta-Palms & Penta-Palms, Diana Version

I couldn't decide which one I like more, so I just posted both. If you don't like it, you can...well, there's really not much you can do about it because it's my blog. Also, these are from California, near Long Beach.

The Top 10 of 2010...Okay, the Top 23 Favorite Android Images of the Year!

I've had a lot of people ask me which images were my all-time favorites from the year. I have thought and thought til my puzzler was sore and this is what I came up with. I couldn't narrow it down to just 10.
What are the criteria, you say? Simple, they're my favorites. I don't have to have a reason. There are at least 50 more that could have made this post so maybe I'll do a part deux later, deal?

So here they are, my faves. I know, there are more than 10. I simply couldn't cut it down any further!

LOVE Chicago architecture.

My favorite self-portrait.

Yeah, my daughter is a princess, with or without the crown.

This image is just so clear and colorful that I can hardly believe that it came from a cell phone camera.

I love this one because I'm a huge M*A*S*H fan and saw this Korean War era ambulance just sitting in a driveway one day.

Definitely one of my favorites. Its makes the shopping cart seem like a person to me. I know what it's thinking.

The kind of sky that doesn't come along all that often and I was just thrilled that I had a camera. It was breathtaking.

The console of my car, labeled.

Ocean City, Maryland.

The Utah State Capitol building.

Impromptu Waterfalls in Virgin River Gorge

When there is a lot of rain like there was the week before Christmas (see the previous two days' photos) random waterfalls appear in the Virgin River Gorge on the border of Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. It was truly spectacular. I only wish I'd have had more time to take pictures.

Inversion Effect

Here in Utah, we have what they call Inversion. I don't know what it means, meteorologically-speaking, but I know two things: it sure looks cool--and I will probably die of lung cancer.

Falling Hard

I love the colors of fall but they're even more dramatic under a blanket of white. I wish I'd have had more time to capture it but at least I had my phone!

The Colors of Fall

Don't you just LOVE the oranges of autumn? In Utah we have these colors year around...lucky us.

Bands of Color

You definitely lose quality in a cell phone photo when you zoom. It basically just makes the pixels larger so everything seems closer. But zooming was the only way to get the bands of color across the fields that I wanted in this image. This is out in Rush Valley, Utah.

Beautiful Omen

Fall is officially here. It's beautiful, but it means things are about to get cold.
