Thanksgiving

I actually did a shoot on Thanksgiving Day this year. It was a fun shoot with the Call Family up in South Weber. This was one of the interesting images I saw while hanging out at the farm where we shot.

Table Lamp

A home-made light for church dances used as a table lamp. Don't think too much about it.

Falling Hard

I love the colors of fall but they're even more dramatic under a blanket of white. I wish I'd have had more time to capture it but at least I had my phone!

So Much for Nostalgia

In this post on November 7th, I talked about our tree that sits just outside our kitchen window. Well, in a grand gesture of anti-sentimentalism, nature hit us with a huge, wet snow storm. With autumn leaves still on the tree, the weight of the snow was just too much. About half the tree split off under the stress.
It makes me sad. I went out and knocked the snow off the other branches in an effort to at least save what is left but i don't know if the tree can survive.
All of a sudden, the pictures I've taken of it have become that much more valuable.
